Intermediate/(10+2) or equivalent from any Board/University with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one
subject out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/Biology.
There are 60 seats in each discipline. The students will be admitted from the merit list of the successful candidates, who appeared in the UPTU SEE-2008. There will be 15% seats of the management quota. They will also be filled on the basis of merit. There are plans to offer scholarship to a few highly meritorious students. Students who have not appeared in UPTU-SEE 2008 but fulfill the norms laid down by the UPTU will also be considered for admission in the first year of study for seats which remain vacant UPTU norms of admission are strictly followed in the colleges.
The students will be undergoing through a common curriculum in the first year of study with courses in basic sciences, engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering etc. There will be laboratory classes in many of the above subjects.
