At SCERT we place a strong emphasis on regular classroom attendance to ensure that our students derive maximum benefit from the authentic scholarship of their teachers. The discipline imbibed by regular class attendance shall serve these students well in their careers ahead.
Well equipped labs and appropriate guidance ensures that our students are well versed with the existing technology of their field – be it the design of a servo motor, configuring a server, troubleshooting a telecom switch or designing a heat exchanger, our students will be able to handle all.
Focused attention provided to English language improvement; extensive training workshops will be conducted to help students develop their communication skills. These workshops will help student gain confidence to speak in public, which is a critical skill to handle group discussions and interviews.

Eligibility & Criteria:
Those applicants who have passed the final examination of 10+2 standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and anyone of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science or Biology; are eligible to apply for admission to SCERT.

Management Quota
A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination.
Direct admission (lateral entry) to second year for Diploma holders is also considered. The candidate should have passed three year diploma from an institute located in U.P. with a minimum of 60% marks or whose parents are domicile of U.P. and has a three year diploma ( with minimum 60% marks) recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Such candidates are required to appear in the U.P. State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).
