Mathematics and Computing isn’t a very good option to go for! As it is a new branch one should not put his/her career at stake to know whether this branch is good or not! There are many viable options available in DTU that should be preferred over M&C such as Production, Automotive and Chemical. These branches are old enough to have gained reputation in the market, therefore there is much surety of placement in these branches as compared to M&C!

Its not the case Sameer! Mathematics and Computing might be a new course in India but it definitely has a lot of scope. This is only course in engineering which opens gateways for bachelors in the finance sector, the sector which has gained reputation for paying highest salaries to employees. Also, if you don’t find yourself successful/interested in finance sector you can always go for taking a higher degree in Computer. That’s the best part of it! So if you didn’t get a rank good enough to get computer science as your subject, you can go ahead with Mathematics and Computing.
