JEE Main (AIEEE) 2013: Final Correction in Application Form Details

07.02.2013 – Final Correction in Data

It is again brought to the notice of all the aspirants and registered candidates of JEE(Main)-2013 that one more chance for correction in their data (particulars) will be available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in from 08.02.2013 to 14.02.2013.

All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form.

However the cahnge of city of exam and change of mode from computer based to pen and paper based is not allowed.

This is the final chance given to the candidates to avoid any hardship. Therefore, the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 14 Feb 2013. Thereafter no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE unit under any cicumstances latest by 18th Feb 2013.

11.01.2013 – Public Notice

As notified earlier (notice given below in this page), it is again brought to the notice of all the aspirant and registered candidates of JEE (Main)-2013 that the facility for correction in their data (particulars) will be operational on the website www.jeemain.nic.in from 15.01.2013 to 24.01.2013. All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed. Since, it is one time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 24.01.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE Unit under any circumstances. The correction slip generated after corrections with the bank draft of additional amount (if applicable) and copy of earlier confirmation page is to be sent to JEE Unit on the address mentioned below so as to reach latest by 31.01.2013.

Important Instructions

1. This is just a process of applying for corrections.The data corrected by the candidate will be updated by JEE(Main) Unit only after receipt of ’Acknowledgement Slip for correction’ with copy of earliar Confirmation Page and payment of additional Exam Fee (if applicable) through Demand Draft only.The information regarding updation of data will be intimated to the candidate by SMS from JEE(Main) Unit on the Mobile Number provided in Application Form.
2. Change of Mode of Examination from ‘COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATION’ to ‘PEN AND PAPER BASED EXAMINATION’ will not be allowed.However the candidate may change the mode of examination from ‘PEN AND PAPER BASED EXAMINATION’ to ‘COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATION’
3. Change of request for choice of Examination City will not be allowed except the cases where candidate is changing mode of exam and paper applied for.
4. Candidates are advised to take the print out of ‘Acknowledgement Slip for correction’ complete the same in all respect and send to JEE(Main) Unit by speed post or submit in person.
5. The processing of correction in Application Form will begin only after the receiving the ‘Acknowledgement Slip for correction’.
6. The request for correction in Application Form will be accepted only once.Therefore the candidates are advised to be very careful while making correction in the JEE(Main)-2013 Application Form. No subsequent request for correction, whatsoever, will be accepted under any circumstances.
7. If a candidate selected Correction Not Required then candidate is not allowed to submit Online Request for Correction in JEE(Main)-2013 Application Form again

It has been noticed that aspirants of JEE(Main) -2013 have committed mistakes while filling particulars in their online registration form. Keeping in view, the hardship of the candidates, the Board has decided to display the particulars of the candidates on the JEE(Main) website in the second week of Jan 2013 so that the candidates can rectify their incorrect particulars except change of examination cities and option for change of mode of examination from Computer Based Examination (online) to Pen & Paper based examination (Offline).

Candidates who have forgotten to put signatures, thumb impression, to obtain signature of parent/guardian, mailing address not mentioned on the form and to paste photographs duly attested are also advised to download duplicate copy of Confirmation Page, complete the same in all respect and forward the completed form to the JEE(Main) Unit.

It is notified for information of the aspirants of JEE(Main) that they should periodically visit http://admissions.aglasem.com/jee-main-2013/ for rectification of the particulars.

Candidates must write their application no. on the letter/email before sending the request to JEE (Main) unit.
